A quick snapshot from some work I’m doing on my bench at the moment, returning the f-holes back to their original position.
The grainlines on this cello are extremely narrow and barely visible, so I’m not spending tons of time getting them all perfectly lined up. The key will be getting the look in the wood right and hopefully having no reflection issues.
It’s the third time I am doing this kind of restoration and I’m grateful that my experience from the previous two has given me confidence in my approach and method.
