
There is so much work in a cello neckgraft! My Beare’s sheet tells me it should take around 70 hours all in. With the added work of the scooped pegbox walls along the top and the woodworm to deal with, it took me an extra 5 hours…
I’m not keen on stopped neckgrafts but for the preservation of original wood, I replaced like for like. I found the sanding disc worked a treat for the endgrain at the top of the graft!
