Simone F. Sacconi taught Charles Beare his method of how to position, fit and shape bassbars while he trained in New York with him and this teaching was passed on to Reiner Schumann, Charles’ longest serving employee in the London Shop.
Reiner checked my bassbars for the entire time I was working with him, at least the final shape of it and I’m grateful to him for all he taught me.
In this case, there was cracks running along the edge of the bar, so I had to fit studs underneath it.
