A Tasty Slab-cut Back!

Not only does this slab-cut back look stunning, it must have been very tasty too! 🫣 🪱

I am currently feathering out the edges of the wormtracks and pressing shavings in. As the area will need a patch, I can use original shavings which helps with matching up those wavy medullary rays and the reflection with the flames.

One shaving at a time…
