By law I have to charge VAT for my Online Courses. “Teachable” is the platform I chose to host my online teaching and up to now I have been very pleased with it.
Unfortunately I realised yesterday that Teachable changed all the prices of my courses without my knowledge to include VAT when I had set it all up to display the prices excluding VAT. I wasn’t informed about this other than a footnote in an email that focused on other points.
This means that anyone looking at my online teaching recently would have seen the prices at 20% higher than they are. Please accept my apologies. I hope the sales pages are now clear on pricing as Teachable will not let me display my prices excluding VAT from now.
